Lors de la Conquista\, les Espagnols rapportèrent en Europe deux trésors : l’argent de Potosí et la pomme de terre. Son arrivée en Europe coïncide avec une période historique fort critique pour ce continent\, frappé d’un véritable petit âge glacial\, dévasté par des guerres continuelles et affecté par d’innombrables famines et disettes. \nCette conférence nous fera découvrir Parmentier\, la grande famine d’Irlande et son rôle dans l’évolution des variétés\, les pays producteurs et consommateurs\, la pomme de terre dans les arts et…en cuisine! \nConférencier : Mario Cappadocia\, Ph.
